Teleperitagens · a CloudWorks productLaunching in Portugal on 19 January 2027

Remote inspections, under your brand.

The policyholder gets a link by SMS or email, opens the camera and the inspection happens. No app to install, no travel. When the session ends, the report is already done, with your company's logo.

Teleperitagens means "tele-inspection" in Portuguese.

Four steps. Nothing to install.

  1. 1

The link goes out by SMS or email.

Create the session in your dashboard or through the API, and the link goes out under your company name. No account, no password.

  2. 2

    The policyholder opens the camera.

The link opens in the phone's browser and asks for camera access. No app to install and no sign-up.

  3. 3

    The adjuster guides the inspection.

See the damage live, say what to film, take photos, annotate and chat.

  4. 4

    The report is ready.

Photos, videos, annotations and chat in a professional PDF the moment you close the session. Send it and file it straight away.

Built for how adjusters actually work.

No friction for the policyholder

A link by SMS or email, camera on in seconds. No sign-up, no app, no excuses. Works on any phone: Android 9+ and iOS 14+.

Your identity

PDF, SMS, email, logo, colours and header all carry your company's identity. The policyholder never sees the vendor's name.

Report in seconds

The PDF is generated when you close the session. No more assembling reports by hand at the end of the day.

Nothing for the adjuster to install

Works in the browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). Create your account and run your first session the same day.

What the policyholder sees.

For someone who has just reported a claim, a video inspection has to be easier than waiting in for a visit. They get a message from the company handling their claim, tap the link and the browser asks for permission to use the camera.

During the session they follow the adjuster's lead: a wide shot of the room first, then the damage up close, with something for scale when it matters. When the session ends, nothing is left installed on the phone.

Use cases by type of claim.

Video inspection works when the damage is visible, contained and can be documented with a phone camera, without precise measurements or a physical examination.

Escape of water

Localised leaks, burst pipes and stains on ceilings or walls. The adjuster confirms the visible source and the extent, and decides whether the leak needs tracing on site.

Glass

Windows, shopfronts, hobs and mirrors. The damage is visual and objective: one wide photo, one close-up and something for scale are usually enough.

Minor motor claims

Scratches, dents, headlamps and wing mirrors. The adjuster documents the damage panel by panel, checks the registration on camera and decides whether the vehicle needs to go to a garage.

Contents and appliances

Equipment damaged by a power surge, water or a fall, and household contents. The camera shows each item's condition, make, model and label.

Not every inspection needs a trip.

  • Low-value claims, where the travel costs more than the damage
  • First assessment, to decide whether a site visit is needed and by which specialist
  • Repair checks and follow-up visits
  • Policyholders in remote areas or on islands
  • Demand peaks, such as storms and floods, when there are not enough adjusters to go round

And when a site visit is still the right call.

Video inspection replaces the trips that add nothing, not the adjuster in the field. In these cases, insisting on video is a mistake:

  • Structural damage that needs measuring. Cracks, subsidence and roofs are assessed with instruments and physical access, not a phone camera.
  • Suspected fraud. The policyholder holds the camera, which limits what can be verified. Evidence gathered on site carries more weight.
  • Claims with several parties. Neighbours, building managers, third parties or several policies call for comparing accounts and reading the context in person.
  • Policyholders who cannot run the session. Without a phone with a working camera, without help or in a distressing situation, a visit is also a matter of respect.

A useful rule: if you doubt the reliability of the evidence you are about to gather, use the video session for triage only, never as the final inspection.

Technology your company can audit.

Enterprise infrastructure.

Real-time video through Cloudflare Calls (SFU). AWS S3 storage within the EU. Encrypted at rest and in transit.

File integrity.

A SHA-256 hash on every photo, video and PDF. Signed URLs that expire. A complete audit trail.

API and webhooks.

A documented REST API and events (session created, session completed, report ready) to connect to your claims management system, CRM, ERP or PeritOS.

Already using PeritOS? Teleperitagens fits into your process.

Create the session from the case and receive photos, videos and the report in the same case, through the API and webhooks. No files to download and upload again.

The case then carries on as usual in PeritOS: the adjuster reviews the evidence, completes the report and the case goes back to the insurer. If the video shows that a visit is needed, the session's evidence is already in the case when the adjuster goes out.

Teleperitagens also works on its own. You can start with video inspections only and connect PeritOS later.

FAQ

When does it launch?

In Portugal, on 19 January 2027. Everyone on the priority list gets an activation email that day. If anything slips, we will let you know in advance.

Is it available outside Portugal?

Not yet. Teleperitagens launches in Portugal first, with Spain next. Leave your details and we will tell you when it reaches your market.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The adjuster uses the platform in the browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). The policyholder opens the link on their phone. Nothing to install on either side.

Does it work on an older phone?

Yes. It runs in the browser, using the phone's standard camera. We test on Android 9+ and iOS 14+.

Which claims work well by video?

Those with visible, contained damage: localised escape of water, glass, minor motor damage, appliances and contents, repair checks and first triage. The final call is always the adjuster's.

When is a site visit the better option?

For structural damage that needs measuring, when fraud is suspected, for claims involving several parties and when the policyholder cannot run the session.

Do reports carry our brand?

Completely: a PDF with your logo, SMS with a configurable sender name, and email with your template, colours and header. The policyholder sees your brand, not ours.

Does it integrate with our system?

Yes. There is a documented public REST API and event webhooks, and the documentation opens at launch. If you prefer, we can recommend integration partners.
